About

The Bats have been active with the same line-up since New Year’s Eve 1982. They’ve released 10 albums, 6 EP’s and a heap of singles. They have regularly toured in their home country of New Zealand (where they are based) USA, EU, UK and Australia.

  1. saw the notice on FB and dutifully followed the link. this is fantastic, and would only be more fantastic [or is that “fantasticer”] if there were a tour stop noted for washington DC or nearby environs. 🙂 thanks for your hard work and your beautiful art.

  2. Dear Bats,
Can you come to the Netherlands again for some gigs? It’s far away, on the other side ot he earth. Here in the Netherlands we have ‘a fine nose’ for the quality music and the infrastructure, also for also smaller but good bands like you. Maybe you can ask RVG (Romy Vager Group from Melbourne) to make a trip together: the have been here before several times. Then you get more fans in one evening.
My advise: go to the town Utrecht (in the middle of our country, 40 km’s south of bigger but may be anonymus Amsterdam), a friendly town with a big university, good connections for (potential) fans and not so expensive as Amsterdam. And a well equipped multi musical centre with 6 stages, also for festivals with different groups in one building.

Hope to see you if possible. All the best with you.
